Man’s Problems and God’s Solution

… by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners…ROMANS 5:19

Dear Friend:

To be happy in this life and in the next life, we must be in right relationship with our Creator. When man was first created, he was in right relationship with God. He loved God, He worshipped God. He obeyed God. But a tion came when Adam rebelled against his Creator and disobeyed the right relationship between Adam and God. There were many terrible results of Adam’s disobedience. In this lesson we consider some of them.

Adam Died Spiritually:

You will remember that God Had commanded Adam and Eve not to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge. God had warned them, In the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die.Adam and Eve disobeyed God. They ate the forbidden fruit. The result of their disobedience was death! But what kind of death was it? It was spiritual death. Adam did not die physically when he ate the fruit. He lived on for hundreds of years after this. But he died spiritually that very day. What does it mean to die spiritually? It means to be seperated from the life of God. What seperated Adam from God’s Life? SIN! It was sin that seperated the first man from his Creator. You may wonder why it is important to know about the first man , Adam and what he did. The reason is this:Adam was the head of the human family, the source of the entire human race. God did not create millions of people to populate the Earth. He created only one man – Adam. From this one man came all human life. Thus God sees the whole human race as being one race in Adam. Because of this, what Adam did affected the whole human race

Man’s Problems:

Every person born into the human family is born into Adam’s sinful race. As a member of this sinful race, man gag many problems, let us consider there great problems

  1. Man is seperated from God’s life.
    • The moment Adam disobeyed God, he died spiritually. He has seperated from the life of God. Adam’s sin resulted in spiritual death, not only for himself, but for the entire human race. By nature, every person born into the world is spiritually dead — seperated from the life of God. The bible says, Wherefore, as by one man, Adam, sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.ROMANS 5:12
